Moving a Blog to New Site/Developer

    Hello,

    We have a wordpress.org blog that I would like to transfer from my current site/developer to a new one, but I’m not sure how to go about that without contacting the current developer (who doesn’t know we won’t be using their services much longer). Is that something I can do on my own or do I need their assistance? I tried exporting in the Tools section, but there’s nothing in my Tools section. My new​developer​r says we need a SQL export.
