    Hi there,

You are welcome to export the full content of your WordPress.com blog, including the comments. You can do that by going to Tools > Export in your dashboard. We have more information about that here: Export

However, there isn’t a way to export just the comments. When you create the export file, you’ll need to select “All content.” This will include your blog’s posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus and custom posts. You can then import all of your blog’s content to your new site.

Please let me know if you have any questions. :)

That was awesome thank you and it worked great. I have one last question.

Is there a way for me to move over my subscribers from my existing to blog to the newly hosted site? And is there a way to see who my subscribers are and their email addresses? Thanks

    Hi there,

You can view your blog’s followers from your stats page here: http://wordpress.com/my-stats

Scroll down to the “Totals, Followers, & Shares” box and click on “Blog” to see all of your blog’s followers.

If you’d like to move those followers over to your self-hosted site, we can help with that. We can move all of your WordPress.com and email followers. (However, WordPress.com followers will only receive updates from your self-hosted blog in the WordPress.com Reader. If they want to get email updates, they’ll need to sign up for those on your new blog.)

If you’re interested in that, you can follow the instructions on this page to get your self-hosted site set up for it: Moving Your Subscribers

When you’re ready, just let me know here and I can help move them for you. :)

Hey rachelmcr. Is there a way to send a blog post to a bunch of email addresses? So like once you publish your post it can go out to a number of email addresses just like it does for subscribers? Hope that makes sense. Thanks

    Hi there,

The only way for a blog post to automatically go out to a bunch of email addresses is if those people are subscribed to your blog. You could email those people and invite them to subscribe. :)

If you want to send a post via email manually, without having them subscribe, you can enable the email sharing button on your site. That way, you can click the email sharing button and email it out to people. We have more information about the sharing buttons in Jetpack here:

    http://jetpack.me/support/sharing/

If you have any questions about setting up Jetpack features, you can also check out the Jetpack support site or contact Jetpack support. :) Let me know if I can help with anything else!
