Moving byline

    Hi! I hope you are having a good day. How can we move the byline (where the author’s name is) to the top of the page?

    Hi there!

    The author box placement is determined by the theme, and it doesn’t have the option to move it elsewhere. You could consider switching to an FSE theme, which uses the Site Editor.

    FSE themes do not have such author boxes, so you’d have to create one using the Site Editor. But it has the flexibility to create such a box for the author byline anywhere in the theme (so you won’t be as reliant on the theme’s design/structure as you are with your current theme.)
