moving content from old domain

  I have bought a domain with the service Go Daddy however they haven’t been much help when it comes to transferring my withstanding wordpress content to my new domain. I was wondering if you could give me any guidance on this. They recommended a plugin called Duplicator but this doesn’t seem to work for me?

  So, just so I’m clear, are you trying to use a custom domain with your WordPress.com site? Or are you trying to migrate your WordPress.com site to a new self-hosted WordPress.org site through GoDaddy?
