Moving Custom Domain Blogger Blog to WordPress

  Hello,

  I have a custom domain blog on blogger and I’d like to move the whole thing over to wordpress. I’ve read the topic “map an existing domain”, but I still don’t really understand the process. Can anyone break it down for me?

  You can use import/export utility in WordPress. I have imported my blog from sqlandplsql.blogspot.com to sqlandplsql.com ( Which is a wordpress blog with my own domain )

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ those are the instructions. I don’t know who’s managing your domains right now, but just tell them to change your nameservers to

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Thanks, raincoaster, although that’s one of the points that I’m confused about. I purchased my domain through blogger, but I assume they register the domain through a third party? How do I find out who needs to change the nameservers? Sorry – I’m really tech ignorant!
