Moving Domain name to wordpress.org

    Hi- I signed up for a wordpress.com site not knowing that it would not be compatible with a plug in that we needed to use for an in house training. I stopped building the .com site, and we are almost ready to launch the .org site for beta testing by our employees. Right now, when I type in the URL that we need, it takes me to the old .com site. I need my end user to be able to use our domain name and have it take them to our new. org site. Currently, the domain name and/or what shows in the bar within wordpress.org has a bunch of numbers in the beginning, and that just won’t do with the company.

    I’ve seen a lot of information on line about transferring content, but I don’t need that content, just the domain name. I have BlueHost, and they said that I have to work this out with Word Press.
