Moving email subscribers from wordpress.com blog to self-hosted wordpress site
-
I am in the process of moving my website from storypath.wordpress.com to storypath.upsem.edu and I’d like to have my followers moved. I have JetPack installed on the new .edu site. Do you do this or is this something I can do? I get conflicting information while searching forums.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Yes, I’d be happy to transfer the users who have subscribed to your blog by email and via the WordPress.com Reader.
Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site. You might want to post a notice on your old site about your upcoming move to keep your readers informed.
Can you please reply back if you have any questions or let me know if you would like me to go ahead and move your subscribers?

Thanks for confirming. I moved your subscribers to the new site, so you should be all set! Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
