Moving followers

  How do I move my subscribers and followers from my WordPress.com blog (jasonamoss13.wordpress.com) to my new self-hosted blog via wordpress.org (billiardsmovies.com)? I have Jetpack but not sure what to do next.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your subscribers and followers have been transferred as requested. Just a heads-up that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.

  Thank you so much for the assistance. Quick follow-up question: is there any way to tell WordPress.com followers that they are currently no longer receiving email updates and to resubscribe? I checked out a few of their individual blogs, but don’t see a way to contact them directly.

  There isn’t an automated way to contact those followers, but you could make a post about it on your site and hopefully some of them will see it.
