Moving from .com to . org, keeping same domain name (register by wordpress.com)

  I have registered my domain by wordpress.com (the one that cost $18/year) (www.alphalize.com) and I really need to use some plugins so I wanted to change it to .org for plugins. However, I really want to keep the same domain name.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins — what kind of plugins do you want to use? I can help you see if there’s a way to get that feature here at WordPress.com.

  If you’re sure you want to move to a self-hosted (WordPress.org) site, you can Move Your Domain to Another Host. That way, you can keep using your domain alphalize.com with your new host.
