Moving from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  I have already registered with wordpress.org using my same domain name from my wordpress.com site. I launched WordPress through the hostgator’s quick install. A new site is not being generated, but my old site and backend are still the same. Could you please point my server to

  1st Nameserver: ns8143.hostgator.com
  2nd Nameserver: ns8144.hostgator.com

  Please advise

  Hi Emerald,

  I see that you already entered those HostGator name servers under Store > My Domains in your dashboard. You’re all set with that! :)

  It can take some time for a change like that to take effect everywhere, but I’m seeing your other, self-hosted site when I visit your domain. If you still see your WordPress.com site at your domain, you may need to wait a bit for your computer to refresh and see the change. Alternately, you can try flushing your computer’s DNS cache.
