moving my domain name to self hosting

  I would like to remove a domain name because I have transferred it and it is now self hosted. I would still like to create a blog on WordPress.com, but the domain name that has expired on my account is being hosted somewhere else.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please let me know which domain name you’re referring to. The domain newmemoms.com is still pointing to your WordPress.com site, not a self-hosted site. Just let me know so we can get this sorted out for you. Thanks.

  Thanks for your reply kathrynwp! You are right…the domain name that I am referring to is newmemoms.com which is still pointing to WordPress.com, but before it actually expired, I transferred it to Hostgator, but there is still no change. I have already gone into the domain manager and changed the IP address and the nameservers. When I contacted Hostgator, they said that the domain name was being held by Wild West…I’m not sure how that happened or who they are, but I really appreciate your help…sorry for the long post!

  It looks like you managed to get the domain pointing to your new self-hosted site, so hopefully all is well now!
