Moving my website over here?

  Can I speak to someone about transferring my website over here? I can’t follow all the instructions it confuses me.
  I have a functioning wordpress website with a go daddy domain name and a blog hosted by an independent supplier. I also have a blog on this site. My independent supplier has moved onto other things and wants me to find another host. The files are on his server but he’s happy to re-direct them. My site also needs re-designing. I’ve tried to follow the instructions for re-directing it over here, but I get really confused. I know I can get an upgrade from my blog here to a website, but I want to keep my original website and domain name. Can anyone help?

  No. A blog IS a kind of website.

  You cannot keep the same design if you move here unless the theme you’re using is also available for WordPress.com blogs as well as WordPress.org blogs.

  To transfer the content, go to the dashboard Tools page and click Export. On the dashboard of your new WP.com blog, click Import. Check to make sure everything got ported over. Then you can use the Domain Mapping upgrade to connect your custom domain to your WP.com blog.
