Moving post ratings to wordpress.org

  Hi folks,
  I am about to move my blog to a self hosted site using wordpress.org. So far everything seems to be ready, however, I do have one question: Can I move my wp.com post ratings to my new page? Searching for an answer, I have only found this topic in the wordpress.org support forums: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-do-i-migrate-post-ratings-from-wordpresscom-to-wordpressorg?replies=2 I’d be really glad if I wouldn’t lose any post ratings.

  Hi Sarah!

  There’s no way to transfer your ratings from WordPress.com. Sorry I can’t be more helpful in this instance, but let me know if there’s something else I can do.

  First of all I want to say…

  @shawnajroberts: thanks to you too for the quick answer! And no worries, it’s just a few stars ;)

  But considering that you asked, there is one thing that you might be able to help me with: Do I need to ask here or a wordpress.org to move my stats from wp.com to wp.org? My question is about the following blogs:
  cluecast.wordpress.com now cluecast.cluewriting.de (already migrated)
  cluewriting.wordpress.com now cluewriting.de (will be migrated within 24 hours from now).

  Hi Sarah! I can transfer those stats for you as soon as the new sites are set up and connected to your account via Jetpack.

  Just reply here to let me know when that’s ready and I can transfer the stats for both of those. :)

  Hi Shawna,

  Thanks so much, that would be awesome! Both our blogs are ready now, so it would be great, if you could transfer the stats (and if possible, the post likes – Jetpack is activated and connected).
  I will transfer the followers tomorrow by myself using Jetpack after the stats have arrived :)

  Happy to help Sarah! Post likes won’t transfer with your stats. But I’ll add this as a suggestion for our developers.

  Thanks a lot, it worked just great :) And moving likes would be awesome, so let’s hoge that that will be possible someday :)
