Moving posts from Home page to a new page
-
I plan to move my ‘Quotes’ posts from ‘Home’ page to a new page called ‘Quotes’. Is this possible? If yes, how?

We blogger do not “move posts”. When we publish posts the software automatically posts them on the dynamic Archives, categories and/or tags pages for us. To organize posts we assign Categories and we create custom menus. When we create a custom menu we can add selected Categories pages as menu items into that custom menu.

My plan is to create a custom menu so as to organise my posts according to format e.g. Standard, Video, Quote. But I’m still not clear on how to do this using the custom menu walk-through using my present theme. Any step-by-step guide will be appreciated.

See here for adding Post Formats to a custom menu > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-tag-post-format-pages

My theme supports only 1 menu so I’ll have to be ‘smart’ to have a cool blog presentation.
All the links have been useful and I’ll experiment when I have fresh ideas!
Many thanks! -
Many people think only 1 menu means only one menu item but that’s not the case at all. You can have as many menu items in the custom menu as you wish.
