Moving to wordpress
-
Hi, I am currently using GoDaddy website builder for my site.
I want to now use wordpress to build out and edit my site but am quite confused as to how I can do it. I don’t want to have a blog on wordpress but my own website using a domain I already own. How do I go about it? When I enter the domain it says wordpress doesn’t support .co.uk domains, but I don’t understand what re mapping it will do?
Please can you offer some advice on how I move from Website Builder on GoDaddy to creating a website with WordPress on my own domain ending in .co.uk ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
There are 2 versions of WordPress. It sounds like you want to go ahead with using our managed environment of WordPress.com. Please confirm.
Mapping the domain to WordPress.com will point it to the site that you build here. It will stay registered with the current registrar, and just be directed to us.
