Moving user lists from a wordpress hosted site to a non-hosted installation

    Hey guys,

    I’m trying to move my subscribed users from a WordPress.com hosted site (http://tivonim.wordpress.com) to a manually-installed WordPress version (http://onyx-design.co.il/tivonim), and have encountered two problems:

    1) I can’t export and import a list of users (CSV or any other data structure) from one site to another. Exporting is the easy part, but I can’t seem to import it to the new site.

    2) When users subscribe to the new site, the confirmation emails are not being sent in the default blog language (Hebrew) and instead are being sent in English.

    Would appreciate any help you can provide :)
