moving web site

I have a host closing shop, moving to network solutions, but was told to create an empty site with wordpress and my existing site will be moved with Filezilla.
So just want a blank site to populate, I already own domain name. -

If you’re moving to Network Solutions you’ll be using the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org. That’s not the same thing as WordPress.com in whose forums you’re posting now. Please contact Network Solutions directly for help uploading your site files to their servers using Filezilla.
Support for the WordPress software you’re using is provided by the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Technically it’s also possible to import a site via FTP on our Business Plan, but it’s not a method we officially support.
