Moving wordpress and website files from subdir to root folder
-
I moved the website from a subdirectory to the root directory : public_html. Since I also moved all the wordpress – admin folders, should I not be able to log in to this website on the root to be able to make changes?
Ideally, I would like to make /wpr2/ as my production folder. So that when updates are made, I could test and migrate to root when ready.
Right now, http://www.ewclchina.com – launches well with the welcome page. But upon clicking the Skip Intro, it links the pages into http://www.ewclchina.com/wpr2/ folder.Would highly appreciate your help in this matter.
Thank you,
