Moving WordPress domain to Squarespace

    I purchased a domain through wordpress.com but would now like to redirect the domain to my squarespace website. How would I go about moving the domain to squarespace without having to cancel my wordpress domain and purchase it through another host? I tried using the instructions already provided by wordpress and squarespace, but neither has worked. Any advice?
