Multi Tier Navigation Not Showing Correctly

  • Unknown's avatar

I am working on a site for a client and for the first time I am having problems with sub-menus. After thoroughly going through your forums, support posts, and support video’s, I know that I have organized the menu correctly. (Screen shot would be helpful right about now) However, the third tier is still not showing up on my blog. Your video shows that this can be done, yet it is not functioning. Please advise. The site is arbroady.wordpress.com

    Art
    African Gallery
    African-Gallery – Senigal #2 (30×32)

When you mouse over Art, the African Gallery shows up, likewise when you mouse over African Gallery, the Senigal #2 does not appear. This format is shown in your video as being do-able. The correct order shows up in the “all pages” setting as well as in the “menu” settings pages. Please advise.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

    Hi Caren,

Each theme handles custom menus differently, and the Avid theme you’re using at arbroady.wordpress.com doesn’t support nested sub menus.

In other words, you can have a submenu with the item “African Gallery,” but that item can’t have a sub item underneath it. Sorry if that wasn’t clear! Please let me know if you have any other questions about that.

Since Avid is a premium theme, you can also get support directly from the theme author in the Avid support forum here:
