multilevel categories showing one post at a time from a categoey with link

  I have created multilevel categories. I want to render them on a specific page using custom-template.php. i want only only one post on page followed by link for next post .which will render on same page. i have gone through the looping, next_post_link and other can’t figure out how to accomplish this problem.
