multiple admin access via one IP address

We have a website that is accessed each day by three admins with separate log-in credentials. Since a recent move to a new server, we are no longer able to sign in to the back end of the site at the same time from the same IP address. We work in one office and have one internet provider, we use macbooks and use the same wifi to log into the site. Up until the server move, that worked, but now if one of us is logged in, and another one tries to log in, either the first one is booted out or the second one gets booted out of the site. Is there a place in WordPress where you can stipulate that more than one user can come into the admin on the same IP? Thanks.

What is the URL of the site you are referring to? It doesn’t appear to be theduckstop.wordpress.com. Is it a WordPress.com hosted site?

Hi, thanks for your reply. You are right, the site I’m referring to is http://www.treefrogcreative.ca
I have a web firm that manage the WordPress so I don’t have login access for that site into WordPress (that I’m aware of). But we’ve been having this ongoing issue with multip admin access through the same internet service provider and the only work around is for one of us to borrow the password to a neighbour’s wifi – and this is not sustainable (not to mention, the signal isn’t as strong so sometimes goes away). I would appreciate any help you might be able to share.

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. You can log into a WordPress.com site from multiple admins at the same time without issue. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would reach out to your site host for help.

Thank you Darnell, I can never remember if my site is the .org type or the .com type. I’ve gone into the forum you suggested and am searching for answers there. I appreciate your assistance and quick responses.

Just to help point you in the right direction, this is most likely caused by a security plugin on your site, or else by a security feature enabled on your server by your hosting provider, in which case, contacting support for that plugin or at your host would be a better option.
The WordPress software itself doesn’t have any built-in feature that would kick you out because of a login from the same IP, so the general forums might not be able to help with this.
