    Hi,
I have read through the forums and I understand how to INVITE authors or contributors that have an existing wordpress account- but this is a company blog that we just want all of our employees to be able to contribute to, and have their name/ image displayed as the author when they do. We don’t want it linked to their personal blogs/gravatars, and in most cases, they don’t even have them.
Why can’t we all just be authors on our single company wordpress account? If we can, how?
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot. Each person you want as an author would have to have an account at wordpress.com. That is how wordpress keeps track of who can do what, where.

Each person could sign up using their company email address if they wished and that would keep everything separate from any personal account they might have.

    Bummer!
Oh well, I guess I will instruct them to do that. Thanks so much for your help!

The it sucks for you workaround is to have one person post all content to your blog – employees would email their contribution to you and you would upload it and add a stock about paragraph at the end of the post – make a category for each author and assign the proper category for each author (you can have more than one category per Post) – this means that technically you still have only one person on the blog – but then you have a lot more work to do, depending on how well written the Posts are.
