  Hey there, I have two domains I’ve purchased with a different provider, and want to create my website with word press. Am I able to link two different domains to the same website? And what is the difference between transferring and mapping my domains? I see that both options require me to pay for wordpress services but I don’t quite understand the difference. Any help is appreciated!

  Yes. You’ll assign one to be the primary domain and the other domain will automatically redirect to it.

  And what is the difference between transferring and mapping my domains?

  Great question. With domain transfer, everything related to your site is going to be in one place (with us). If you map the domain, it will point to us and show a WordPress.com site, but you’ll still have to renew your registration from the domain provider and the mapping from us each year.
