multiple sites created

    I have been trying to set up a site with a particular name. However because I am unable to complete the transaction at the payment stage, I have gone back and tried several times. Each try, WordPress has set up a new name so I now have multiple sites in my account. How can I delete these additional sites?

    Hi there,

    Go to My Sites ->Switch Site, and select the site you want to delete. Then click on Manage ->Settings. The Delete option is at the bottom there, and will also require that you type out the address of the site you’re deleting in full as confirmation, to make sure you’re not deleting the wrong site.

    Did you manage to get the address you wanted set up? Note that if you’re planning to buy a custom domain, the underlying free WordPress.com address doesn’t matter. That address must be there for the site to exist, but visitors to your site won’t see that address.
