multisite

    hello, I want to build 5 different websites from 5 totally different domains names (no subdomains or anything like that) I don’t know how you call it if you call it a multisite or something else but for example, http://www.lecolos.com and another one for a totally different website and different themes like http://www.lalazizia.com and I would like to set it up on the same WordPress login and account then manage all of them at the same time independently. can I do that with my admin account from my separate server if yes how can I do that please the only option I see so far is multisite but only with the subdomains option related to my main domain and it’s not what I want please I need some help?

    Many thanks for reaching out.

    It is possible with Multisite, but this more of self-hosted WordPress characteristic, which is slightly different to WordPress.com. There’s more about the differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    With WordPress.com, it’s possible to have multiple sites inside of an account, with their own plan and domain and you could log into them independently from the WordPress.com account.

    Are you able to tell me more about the sites you’re looking to build, as I suspect we can offer more insights and advice on how best to approach such a project. :)

    yes, I can tell you more about my project. I’m a visual artist I do filmmaking and video and I also have a side company as tech to build pc fix it etc and another side company in the food industry so what I want to do is basically create 6 different websites all in my account I already own all the domains and I own only one server of 100Go who allow me to add WordPress compatibility and I want to link up all my domains on that server only because if I have to pay independently for each domain to work with WordPress it will cost me over 200 a year it’s too expensive for the income I make from the websites.

    also, I don’t use the standard wordpress.com i use http://www.mywebsite.com/admin/ from my server module do i have any option to do what I want to do from that page please that will be so helpful to have a good tutorial on how to do it if it’s possible, please.

    Hi there,

    From what you describe, I would say that hosted your various sites and domains under your WordPress.com account would work, but that option would also be expensive. For six individual sites each with custom domains, you will also need to purchase 6 individual plans, which would be more than $200.
