  It looks like you registered a new domain on your account. May I know why you’d like to delete your account? Do you no longer need to build a site with the domain you registered with us?

  If you still want to cancel and close your WordPress.com account, please note the following:

  • If you cancel your domain, you may not be able to register it elsewhere right away. It can take about a week for it to become available again. Anyone can register it when it is available. So there’s no guarantee that you can register it again. We advise against canceling a domain if you plan on using it even with a different provider.
    • To cancel a domain, please follow the steps here. You’ll get a refund if the domain is canceled within 96 hours.
  • Once the domain is canceled, you can follow the instructions here to close your WordPress.com account. This will permanently delete your WordPress.com site and close your WordPress.com account.
