my account doesnt show my site (that exists) so i cannot check it it will expire or charge me again

    I started a site pewpewfanatic.com and shortly after realized i did not like the idea. I want to make sure that i do not get billed for the site in the future. I have gone to ‘manage Purchases’ and it says i have no purchases… my account is telling me that i do not have a site… but i do. when im editing the site, it says that my username is something. when i go to type that username into wordpress.com, it says the username doesnt exist. this is incredibly confusing for me, too. I just want to make sure im not going to get charged again by WordPress.

    Hi there,

    You don’t see pewpewfanatic.com here because that’s not a WordPress.com site and is not connected to WordPress.com in any way, nor are you paying us for anything related to that site.

    That site was made using the free, open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, which is not the same thing as WordPress.com, and it’s hosted with Bluehost.com.

    So you’re paying Bluehost for that site and you’ll have to contact them to cancel any hosting plans or renewal agreements you have with them.
