My auto updates have been disabled, but not by me
-
Hello, I have an inquiry. When I go to my website health it says “critical issue, background updates are not working as expected” and “the WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE has been disabled.”
It says I have to edit my wp config file in order to fix this. Great! There’s only one problem, my website is completely on the web; that is to say, if I have a wp config file, it’s extremely difficult to find. Most of the guides on this issue were created in 2013 when WP was still a bunch of files on your computer.
Does anyone know why my auto updates have been disabled without my permission? How can I fix it in 2019?
Thanks in advance :)
