My blog addresss for 5 years, ruach333.wordpress.com no longer works? Help!!!

I’ve been a happy wordpress blogger for 5 years now, with over 650 posts. Most of the time it’s gone smoothly, and I’ve been able to figure out the few glitches along the way. This time I am stumped, and quite frustrated. I need help. About a week ago, when posting and wanting to edit/preview a posting, I started being referred to a different blog address: mountain-acreage.com, which I had recently purchased from Network Solutions, since I had let my previous domain, mountainacrege.com expire.
Now my readers are no longer able to contact me at my primary weblog address, ruach333.wordpress.com, as they have these last 5 years, and it makes both me and wordpress not look so good. What is going on? I see that my permalink is now mountain-acreage.com and not ruach333.wordpress.com, as it has been. That is an change I did not intend, and would like to have ruach333 reinstated as my primary site address, so it is available to me, and to my readers. I have tried repeatedly to make ruach333 my primary blog, but I can not even post and review my own entries.
Please help me with this, at your earliest . Again, up to this point, I have been well-pleased with wordpress, but this is very discouraging. Thanks for your support! Please help!Robert Towe, ruach333.wordpress.com

WordPress support. I already typed in one request for help. My primary site address these last 5 years, ruach333.wordpress.com has been redirected to mountain-acreage.com, a non-functional address. I have tried repeatedly to reinstate ruach333 as my primary site, but to no avail. My readers are contacting me, telling me they can no longer reach me at ruach333. I can not even preview my own posts without being directed to mountain-acreage.wordpress.com. This is most frustrating. Please help me with this at your earliest convenience. Whatever you did, it works, and things are back to normal, so that I am once again able to preview my own posts, etc., without being routed to mountain-acreage.com. I trust my readers can also access my site now. I hope I am not being charged for the adjustment you made?
While you are there let me ask you a question. I realized recently that I had let my mountainacreage.com domain name expire from Network Solutions, after several years. Due to the poor economy, I wasn’t working on that site very often, which posted acreage properties for sale. I didn’t realize until too late that I had lost the domain name, mountainacreage.com (which a few years earlier began as mountainacreage.wordpress.com). I would dearly love to retrieve that domain name, if at all possible, and continue posting to it via wordpress. Do you know of a way to get it back?
Anyway, Network Solutions told me in July that the domain name could not be gotten, that it had been taken by another party. So, they sold me a new domain name, mountain-acreage.com, pretty similar to the original. Since purchasing that name, I have not set it up on wordpress., but would like to soon, to start posting my new listings, as I did for several years with mountainacreage.comNow, however, I’m afraid to do anything with mountain-acreage.com, since it seems it would replace the ruach333 site (as it did this week), which I use for personal blogging, newspaper articles I write, etc. Before, when I had mountainacreage.com, it seemed to function independently of the ruach333 blog, and that is the way I would like to have it with the mountain-acreage.com site.
All that as background for you to understand, so that I can ask this questions:1. Is there a way for one person to have two blogs with wordpress, and have them function totally independently of each other, i.e., without one blog being the primary blog and the other being the “subsidiary” blog, so to speak, so that there is no possibility of the two blogs interfering with each other, thus creating the confusion and discouragement I’ve experienced this week?
2. How do I now go about setting up mountain-acreage.com, and begin entering posts with photos, narratives, etc.? How do I keep it completely separate from ruach333?
Kathryn, thank you for reading through this, and for whatever helpful directions you can give me. Please keep it pretty simple, since I am not well-versed in the terminology of wordpress mechanics.

As stated above, my desire is to set up mountain-acreage.com as a new blogsite, without it interfering with ruach333. What are the steps I need to take to get the new blog set up? Can it be totally independent and unattached to the ruach333 site?

You could always try contacting the current domain owner to see if they would be willing to sell it to you. Here is the contact information from the domain database:

You can create multiple blogs under one username, by heading to:
http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/
Click “create another blog” in the left column, and follow the prompts.

You would follow the instructions I posted just above to create a new site, and then in the dashboard for that site, head to Store > Domains, to purchase domain mapping for mountain-acreage.com.
