My blog is "archived or suspended". Why?

I recently moved my blog from LJ to WordPress.com. I use it only to archive useful information I find on the other sites/blogs – complete with a link to the original content/authors websites.

Today, I open my blog and it says “vmin.wordpress.com is no longer available. This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.” Why?

I have no idea which terms were violated. Can any one help me here.

You need to go to the dashboard and contact the TOS department via the link in the message in your dashboard. We volunteers cannot help with this, and staff will not discuss suspensions in the forums and have asked that they not be discussed here.

Contact staff and they will get back to you just as quickly as they can, and once in a while they do make mistakes. They will work with you to get your site back to you.

Sounds like copyright violations to me. WordPress.com blogs are good for blogging original thoughts or quoting snippets of other sites and then writing your original thoughts about them. They’re NOT for archiving things you see around the web and not writing original things about them.

    That’s what Tumblr’s for.

Copy entire articles with or without a link to the original would probably do it.

I’ve just contacted you by e-mail about this matter.
