My Blog is Not Showing Up in Google Searches

  Hi as the title says, my blog is not showing up in any search engines. This is what the robots.txt is saying: https://lewisraasaymacleods.wordpress.com/robots.txt

  I’m afraid I don’t understand any of it. My blog is set to public and used to show up in search engines no problem. Is it possible someone hacked it, or created settings so it wouldn’t be indexed?

  To reassure you – this is not the case.

  my blog is not showing up in any search engines.

  I can’t see that this site has much content so, it’s probably it does appear in search engines, but would take a while to find it in the search results.

  My advice would be to keep publishing content on the site, and drive traffic to it, to help search engines crawl and index the site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/

  There’s nothing untoward from what I can see here. The robots.txt tells search engines not to index admin pages of the website and only pages made public.
