  Hi, do you have perhaps an explanation how it could happen that when i start uploading a photo, then all the time it shows up duplicated in the media section.
  the same happens when it’s uploaded together with a related text.
  so i decided to delete in the media section all these duplicates.
  but now i had to realize, that on the main side all the photos disappeared
  and instead of photos there remained only an emty indication frame with ‘image sign’.

  You don’t mention how you upload your photos or posts. Were you uploading directly to the website from a computer web browser, via a smartphone app, by email, etc.?

  Quite some time ago, when I used to upload via the WP mobile app on my smartphone, there were two resulting images in the media library if the image was particularly large.

  Unless you are talking about a huge number of very large images on your site, you should not need to “tidy” your Media Library. For any image that you’ve permanently deleted from a post, you will have to re-upload and reinsert it to the relevant post.
