My blog post disappeared as I was writing it.

I can’t find it in the trash or in drafts. I had saved it several times.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
What is the name of the post? I would like to take a look on this end.
Thanks,
-
It was called “How to Write a Novel Part VI: Marketing.” But I rewrote it from scratch and now it’s called “How to Write a Novel Part VI: Book Marketing Part I: Amazon”
-
Howdy –
Thanks for those details. I’ve looked extensively across codycengdahl.wordpress.com and don’t find any trace of
How to Write a Novel Part VI: Marketing. I checked for both pages and posts with that title.I know there’s not another site registered to this user account. Is it possible that you were signed in to a different user account when writing that post?

I was able to find this deleted post. I don’t think it’s the one you are looking for though. https://codycengdahl.wordpress.com/2019/10/11/__trashed/

That is the rewrite.
The original is gone. I only have one account. I was switching between preview and draft. I had made several manual saves as well as autosaves, and suddenly it was gone. There was no trace of it in the drafts, in the trash, nowhere.
I rewrote it from scratch offline using my native wordprocessor and then copied and pasted it onto your site. That’s the version you found. The original is completely lost.

Hm, yes then I am afraid it must be gone, as that’s all we could locate for it, I’m sorry about that.
-
Thanks for looking. I rewrote it offline and then copied and pasted it. I think that might be the safe way to go.
