My blog site is ‘unsecure’ and I can’t load pictures!

    I set up this blog several years ago as a creative outlet and have recently had a few issues come up. My site is now, ‘Unsecure’ and I can no longer load pictures. The ‘Unsecure’ part happened months ago but, the fact that I can’t load pictures happened more recently (within the last 2 months, or so.)

    I am extremely internet challenged, (I’m sure, anyone with any computer/media skills can see this from my blog), but I set this up by myself from a step-by-step book so ……… I need help fixing these issues by someone who can walk me through the process as painlessly as possible. :).

    Help anyone? (Proceed with caution)

    Are you speaking of https://katy-ala-surprise.com/?

    That site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software on Bluehost.com’s servers. The site is listed in your WordPress.com account because it’s connected here via the Jetpack plugin, and that gives you the ability to manage certain aspects of your site using our tools. But we don’t have any control over how the actual site works.

    Regarding the Unsecure notice, it sounds like your SSL certificate might have expired. You’ll need to contact Bluehost support for help with that.

    For help troubleshooting why you’re no longer able to upload images, please ask over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ – that’s the support forums for the version of WordPress you’re using, and the people these should be able to help you investigate this.
