My blog url is broken

  Hi, Please could you help – I changed my blog address just a couple of hours ago and created a new username. But now, the new blog address is not accessible. When I do a search using the new name, it tells me my search did not match any documents. Not sure what else to do…?

  What is the old URL and what is the new URL? New URLs won’t be indexed by searches immediately; they are like brand new blogs, and it can take weeks to show up in searches.

  Wow! Thanks for your prompt response – The old name was – verapracticum which still shows up in searches but as “page not found”

  Well, basically nothing is broken. Your new URL is a brand new URL and it will take some days or weeks to get indexed by search engines. You can speed up the process by getting incoming links to the new URL.
