There is repeated information in the several posts
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you give me links to the posts you’re having trouble with? And tell me exactly what is being repeated? And where this information should be instead of repeated in these posts?
-
The first post in http://www.our1960mini.com – please open and read, and the Thursday 8 Jan 2015 in lifeofcharles.com.
Open, read, and observe obvious repetition.

It looks like you edited this post six days ago which is when the post was made significantly longer. You can fix this by removing the content you don’t want through the editor here:
https://our1960mini.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1187&action=edit
Do you remember editing this six days ago? Which editor you were using? What edit you were trying to make and whether you were using copying and pasting?

I just use WordPress tools.
I don’t use copy/paste much – add media
I have stayed since they went South

Script: https://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/tinymce.min.js?ver=4107-20141130:3
is the script that is ‘busy’ – 100%+ of CPU.
Is there a way I could restore a previous version of this blog post?
-
Sure! I went ahead and did this for you since the page takes so long to load. It’s still a super long post though. Will you take a look and let me know if you’re missing any content or if its still longer than it’s supposed to be?

Still all kinds of rpeats – Mary Quant for example.
I had a similar problem in http://www.lifeofcharles.com. and found the problem occurred when I added pictures.

I was able to ( finally) edit http://www.our1960mini.com.
I observed that firefox was utilizing the whole system (via top), and decided to try crome – was able to edit.
Thanks

I’m so glad you were able to get this sorted out. I’ve never heard of this happening before. As long as you’re using the “Add Media” button, it shouldn’t be duplicating your content.
It’s possible that if your connection drops out every so often, that your post is being cached in your browser and is somehow being appended to the end when you reconnect to the server. Although, I’m not sure why that would be happening.
Can you tell me which editor you’re using?

Sorry for being unclear. Are you using this editor:
