My cart says awaiting payment but this is a free site

  I signed up for a free site but my cart says WordPress is awaiting payment of $300. Please explain. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Most likely you added a plan to your cart at some point, but never completed the checkout process. If that happens, the plan remains in the cart and reminds you to complete your purchase.

  Click on the cart icon to view the checkout page, then you’ll be able to remove that plan from your cart and the notice will go away.

  Let me know if you have any trouble with that.
