My client want a offline wordpress template

    Is it achievable ?
    Requirement:

    The home page would be populated with basic feeds, apps and notifications.
    The pages would function directly from the desktop, some in offline mode and
    function as website (only locally stored) with pages set to open in new tabs

    Drop down menu items would open in new tabs these pages would be
    combination of:
    1. Applications
    2. External web pages and apps
    3. Additional in application menu and content pages

    Achieved through:
    Phase 1:
    Building an offline wordpress template and adding the required plugins.
    Phase 2:
    Linking to a users hosted profile page(s)

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure I have heard of a site like that before, what you are describing sounds pretty custom. Also WordPress is an online platform (for creating websites) so does not have the ability to run offline as an app.

    We do not offer custom development in-house, so it would not be possible to help you with that aspect, but you may be able to hire a developer to help you in converting the site to an app. However, that functionality does not exist “out of the box” so to speak.
