My credit card payment fails on 2 different cards wrong online payment method

  My credit card payment fails on two differnt cards (my own Master Card and on my colleague’s Visa card), with no obvious reason, with message “Payment Cancelled, Please select an alternate payment method”.

  The alternate payment method, PayPal does not allow me to even login.

  The 3rd payment method, ELV seems to be some local German payment method. I am currently visiting Germany, but I do not have a german bank account. I would rather like to pay by invoice, pre-payment to your bank account, or netbank payment using finnish online banks. Offering a payment method based on the user’s IP address is not a good solution, as we travel for work, and connecting to the site from a German IP does not mean that the user is German and has a German bank account. There should be a choise available.

  Hi there,

  I’m very sorry for the trouble. WordPress.com currently does not accept payment by invoice or direct bank payment (except the ELV payment if you hold a German bank account). Our available payment methods around the world are credit card and PayPal.

  It looks like you were able to complete the payment for your domain upgrade for ayurveda.fi, but if you continue to run in to any trouble with that please let me know.
