My customize menu is different from dashboard menu and can’t get them to sync up

I made changes to my menu on my customizer but the old version I made previously in the dashboard are still there and I can’t get them to sync. When I try to get a preview they show two different previews of my website, Dashboard with the old changes and Customizer with the new changes. I am so frustrated because I made so many changes in customizer. Please help me!
