  i already paid 5 years ahead for my domain with godaddy.com how would that work if i was to incorporate it with wordpress?

  Hi there,

  If you were to transfer the domain to us, it will be renewed for an additional year, which means your domain will only have to be renewed again in 2026, and until then you’ll only be paying us the renewal cost of your plan each year, but not the renewal cost of the domain.

  I notice you don’t have a site with us yet, though.

  If you were planning on hosting the open source WordPress software on a hosting plan with GoDaddy directly, then that has nothing to do with us. WordPress.com is a hosting provider for that software, like GoDaddy, and if you want to host it with GoDaddy, you just need to follow their process to set up that software directly with them.
