  My domain doesn’t work after cancelling my Plan. How do I reconnect my domain name to my WordPress site.

  karljohankoret.wordpress.com should be http://www.karljohankoret.no

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I didn’t know this domain connection had a fee and a subscription.
  What is the cost?

  The plan is to move our pages to another host very shortly, because of price and functionality.

  There is no additional fee outside of the three domain subscriptions. Sorry for the confusion. The total will be $26.

  Were you still wanting to use the same domain when you move the site to the new host?

  If you’re wanting to use your domain at a different host, you may want to reactivate it here and transfer it over. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site

  If you recently registered the domain, you have to wait 60 days before you are able to transfer your domain to a different host, but in the meantime, you can use the domain with your site by pointing the nameservers over to your new host:

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.
