My domain expired

  My domain expired without me realizing and now I want to renew and have it display as usual. Website is http://www.autobiographymag.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  I checked with our registrar and autobiographymag.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

  Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
  the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

  Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.

  I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

  Thanks for your response! If a reclaim the domain through the $80 option, is my website design from before also re-loaded to the site? Or do I have to do it all over again?

  Hi there,

  The loss and/or restoration of your domain should not have affected the content on your site at all. Do you still have access to your site? Is the theme design different now?

  I don’t have access to the site because the domain has expired. I usually access through this link: http://www.autobiographymag.com/wp-admin/

  How can I reclaim this domain?

  I checked the Whois and it looks like the domain is available for registration again. You can Register the Domain through us. Let me know if you have any issues.
