my domain expired, I just updated the credit card but can’t put it active again

    I had my credit card cancelled by Visa and just got a new one and then my renewal didn’t go through, my website now is down : ( http://www.atebrevejose.com)
    Can you please help me renew with the same domain and price, please? (18 US$ annual)
    I have been using these for over a decade and it wasn’t really my fault that they canceled this credit card over some fraud.
    I have a new credit card now that we can use.

    Hey there, I wish I could! The domain is in redemption, and the registrar charges an additional $80 fee to restore it. You can read more about the redemption process here so you can understand what options you’ve got, but generally I recommend just paying the fee so you can be sure to get it back and not have to waste time and risk losing the domain permanently.

    Can we send an invoice for that, along with the regular renewal fee? The good news on that: it’s now $12/year. So the invoice would be $92. Domain expirations/redemption are very time-sensitive and even a single day can make a difference, so let us know as soon as you decide what to do.
