My domain has disappeared

  When setting up my blog two days ago I mapped the domain runrideroam.com as my primary domain paying $13 for the privilege. Now it has disappeared. When typed into an address bar I get the message the my webpage can’t be found. Can you help me to get it working again?

  I’m not seeing any upgrades associated with your account. So it appears that you have purchased this upgrade using a different user account. And in fact, I see that is the case, Domain Mapping for runrideroam.com was purchased by another user account.

  I’m also seeing runrideroam.com as being a domain that is available to register. Were you trying to register it? Or were you trying to map it? Domain Mapping is the upgrade you would use if you had a domain registered elsewhere (through GoDaddy for example) and wanted to use it with your WordPress.com site.

  Thanks for your help. Yes I had purchased the upgrade with my wife’s account, which I am using now to reply. I just tried to register runrideroam.com and received the following message.

  The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.

  Are you able to remove the mapping for me so I can register the domain.

  I have canceled domain mapping for runrideroam.com and credited your account with the money paid. If you are intending to repurchase with a different account, I can refund that money instead. Just let me know.

  But you should be able to register runrideroam.com now. Just make sure you choose “register a new domain” and not “map an existing domain”.
