My domain is not working properly.

My primary domain expired, so I bought a new one and made it my primary domain. However, every time I go to my new domain, I receive this error: ‘You cannot cancel this domain because it was not registered with WordPress.com. Please contact support’
I can’t even view my site because a huge popup blocks everything. And I just noticed my new domain isn’t showing up in the “Blog URL” drop-down menu. Please help! Thanks!

Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your expired domain happygore.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using happygore.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel and instead pay the registrar late fee and renew the domain.
Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

I would also like to delete an expired domain since it appears I cannot use my new domain until the old one is renewed or deleted.

Okay, happygone is canceled. You shouldn’t have any trouble reaching your site any longer. All your content will still be there, changing custom domains does not delete content.
