My domain name

  Hi, I just now brouht my domain name missmarriott.com from godaddy.com and i thought that when I go onto wordpress to make my blog, i wouldnt have to pay for anything else because i want the ‘free’ plan. When i selected that i have a domain name, it said i had to pay for £30 for an annual subscription. My problem is i want to have the free plan with my domain name since i already paid for it, without paying for an annual subscription as it comes with my ‘plan’

  Hi there,

  Connecting an existing domain to a WordPress.com is a paid service, and will require you to buy one of our upgrade plans listed under My Site ->Plans. It is not possible to use your own domain on the free plan.
