My domain won't fully cancel

    I have cancelled my domain after it expired, but I still receive this message telling me to renew:

    “Uh oh! Your blog’s domain burkeyoh.com expired 33 days ago!
    The domain burkeyoh.com was registered on September 4, 2013. It is configured to redirect traffic to the web address burkeyoh.wordpress.com.

    However, this domain name expired on Thursday, September 4, 2014. It needs to be renewed every year to stay active or otherwise it will be lost. Please renew burkeyoh.com below now before it’s too late — It’s quick and easy:”

    I would like to leave burkeyoh.com expired and go back to simply burkeyoh.wordpress.com, but this splash screen comes up every time. The cancellation has been pending since September 4th, 2014

    Hi there,

    I confirmed that your domain was successfully cancelled and removed from your site. I also checked your site and I’m able to view it without getting that expired domain message: http://burkeyoh.wordpress.com/

    You may need to refresh your browser or clear your browser’s cache to make that message go away on your end. Please let me know if you have any more trouble with it!

    Hey rachelmcr,

    Thanks a lot for that. It turns out that I just had to click on a link that’d been sent to my Gmail’s Junk folder! How about that. Thanks for the help anyway!
