Why does it take so long for my email to forward? If it is actually forwarding it is taking a very long time, which defeats the purpose of email over snailmail…

I find that email forwarding does take a bit longer than normal, but if it is taking a couple days that would definitely be an issue!
Can you please let me know how long it takes?

Hi there!
Just to make sure – are you sending test emails from the account to sent the forward to? If you go, Gmail automatically blocks it so you wouldn’t be receiving those.
However, as a test I have sent an email to your forwarding address.

I got your email, and it seems that the problem was I was sending messages from my original account. I was just trying to test out the forwarding. Thanks so much for clearing that up!!!!Is there any way then to reply to messages sent to kfab.co that are then forwarded to my gmail, with my kfab.co address as the sender?

Unfortunately this wouldn’t be possible with email forwarding. In order to do this you would need full email hosting. Here’s a guide on setting that up:
